BUTTERCREAM FROSTING
(Did you forget to buy frosting, or did the kids already eat it, don't worry, easy as 1, 2, 3)
3 3/4 CUPS (1 LB. BOX) CONFECTIONER POWDER SUGAR
1/2 CUP SOFTENED BUTTER (1 STICK)
3 TO 4 TABLESPOONS MILK
1 TEASPOON VANILLA
ELECTRIC MIXER LOW SPEED -
COMBINE - SUGAR, BUTTER, MILK, & VANILLA
THEN BEAT AT MEDIUM SPEED 1 TO 2 MINUTES TO CREAMY (IF DESIRED ADD MORE MILK UNTIL FROSTING IS SPREADING CONSISTENTLY)
NOTE: YOU CAN ADD FOOD COLORING OF ANY COLOR FOR COLORED FROSTING.
MAKES ENOUGH TO FILL AND FROST - A 2 LAYER CAKE; A 13 X 9 IN SHEET CAKE; OR 24 CUPCAKES
VOILA! FROSTING READY FOR A FRESH-BAKED CAKE
